Bill Hill is an accomplished cross-country glider pilot. He has been a glider instructor since 1963 and motorized aircraft since 1966. Bill retired from Air Traffic Control as an Assistant Air Traffic Manager in 1993 and has been employed as a commercial pilot ever since. He has flown for Sky West, Seven Bar Flying Service, Rio Grande Air, Westward Airways and Cutter Aviation. Bill was instrumental in helping Mike Abernathy become a glider pilot. He too has worked with Mike to develop glider formation flying.
